A NOTE FROM JACLYN

I built my career in consulting, working with companies ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 organizations. My work required understanding not only how businesses operate, but how they communicate, connect, and how their actions are perceived.

Along the way, I noticed that I was spending so much of my time researching brands, studying why certain communities thrive, paying attention to design, and writing about the trends and observations I was seeing.

The more I explored these topics, the more I realized they were all connected. Whether I was analyzing a hospitality brand, attending an event, studying a growing community, or looking at a company's visual identity, I was ultimately interested in the same thing, and that is something I have started referring to as ‘modern brand culture.’

To me, modern brand culture is the combination of ideas, aesthetics, and behaviors that shape how people perceive and interact with brands. It extends far beyond traditional marketing. It influences where people spend their time, what they talk about, how it makes them feel, and ultimately what they choose to be part of.

studio jac is a home for all of these ideas and tools related to modern brand culture. And its core, studio jac is driven by a simple belief:

The strongest brands are not built through marketing alone. They are built through shared experiences, authentic relationships, thoughtful design, and a deep understanding of the people they serve.
